This interview with Nawfal Khalil, shows his career path within Digimind and his different interests throughout his roles.

 

 

What is your current position and what are your responsibilities?

 

I am currently an Account Manager, part of the AM EMEA team.

Backed by many years of experience within Digimind, occupying various positions starting from functional support to consulting, my main goal as an Account Manager is to make sure that our clients are fully accompanied and supported by assisting them on the commercial and contractual part, keeping them updated with all new releases and communications and collaborating with our customer Success Managers or/and setup experts on translating their needs and requests into actionable plan with Digimind. 

Another aspect of my job consists of reaching out to sister companies / subdivisions of my clients to showcase our products and services, with the aim of growing our portfolio and acquiring new customers all over the world.

 

Can you tell us about your career path at Digimind ? 


My Digimind journey started as a setup expert (formerly known as Expert Veille Internet EVI) back in December 2014! I was in charge of preparing both Digimind Intelligence and Digimind Social platforms for clients and prospects for more than 4 years, before switching to a Customer Success Manager position and expanding my focus,by including front customer support, setup recommendations, and best practices on all types of use cases. In 2021, I had the opportunity to join the Account managers team where I have the chance to put to use all the expertise formerly acquired from previous positions, to assist and accompany my clients in expanding and optimizing their utilization of our tools and options and offer the red carpet experience they deserve

 

What was your first impression of Digimind? And of Digiminders?

 

What first striked me when joining Digimind, is the sense of community and support, all within a very diverse team. I was thrilled to learn and work alongside such committed and hardworking colleagues, who don’t shy away from thinking outside the box and exchanging ideas to master their expertise and to offer their clients the best service and tools. It is the positive workplace culture we all share in all departments and in Digimind as a whole, from top management to all services, that make us willing and always capable of growth.

 

How important are the Digimind values (go getter, benevolent and entrepreneur) to you?

 

Being a go-getter makes you look for opportunities and question your current vision of things while keeping the big picture in mind, but also implies to have a positively aggressive view and be perfectionist, which is a great way to achieve your goal. It goes in pair with being benevolent, an essential quality that you should have to succeed in life. Thankfully, the working environment and atmosphere at Digimind bring out and develop this value! 

Last but not least, being an entrepreneur is an important part of Digimind as we are always encouraged to take initiative while improving our skill set and continuous learning path.

My name is Emma Nauleau-Laplanche, I am an intern of CSR practices at Digimind. I aspire to keep working and progress in the CSR and sustainability sectors. What inspired me to work in this field was when I was in in South America with The Traveling School, a school based on experimental learning, which made me thing about my impact on the world. Since then, I have enjoyed seeing new things and did a bachelor in environmental sciences in Singapore and a Master in Sustainability Management in Politecnico di Milano.
