Thanks to its tracking agents, the Tracker module provides a means of monitoring for updates (all updates or by keywords) all types of electronic information sources including :
- web sites,
- web pages,
- news,
- invisible web data bases
- search engines,
- newsgroups
- newsletters,
- email discussion lists,
- blogs
- RSS feeds,
- web forums and web boards,
- social networks,
- Factiva or Lexis Nexis type information (Business info providers, requiring payment)
…or even any type of data base for which connectors can be used.

In addition to the exhaustive range of source types that can be monitored, the Tracker module has advanced algorithms for analysing, comparing and extracting data. This presents two major advantages:
- Noise and over-information are avoided as only relevant data is identified
- The collected data is made directly available to the Manager module
Finally, each authorised user can configure his own monitoring agents and share them around, thereby enriching the company’s overall monitoring and tracking capacity with his own expertise. The company consequently benefits from a “staff-based, automated radar system” for monitoring its environment.
