Virbac: “Thirty intelligence communities to help us innovate”

Catherine Castillo Ereau, responsible for Market Intelligence at Virbac, explains how their intelligence process is organized:
Our intelligence team is made up of two and a half people and is supported by the Digimind platform. Our aim was to encourage the active involvement of our employees located in 26 different countries in order to support the company’s innovation processes.
With this goal in mind, we created several intelligence communities. There are now thirty such communities, each focusing on a specific subject: regulatory issues, analysis of the local or international competition […].
Headed by an expert, each community brings together several employees who are granted appropriate access rights and then invited to share their knowledge and enrich the information that is already online on the platform. The central intelligence team formalizes and facilitates the information sharing process, by sending out summary reports to decision-makers and the departments concerned
