The result of an R&D programme lasting several decades and sponsored by OSEO-ANVAR, the 2 nd generation monitoring technologies developped by Digimind represent a breakthrough compared to 1 st generation technologies.
Previous technologies specialized in certain types of information source (web, invisible web, forums), and required manual configuration that was both technical and labour-intensive, producing very basic alerts whose applicability was limited. While suitable for one person monitoring several dozen sites, it soon became obvious that they were less well suited to the surveillance of thousands of diverse sources.
This is exactly the area of specialization of the “Tracker” monitoring module in the latest 1.9 Digimind Evolution release: with just on e query, all sorts of disparate sources can be monitored – without any specific technical knowledge – and any newly identified information is presented in a string of common, standardized alerts (title, automatic summary, new information extracted, link to the original document), in a user-friendly form for analysts and experts.
