Program: Case studies will be presented on two companies that are consistent innovators: Novamont, an Italian bioplastics company, and ketchup giant Heinz.  Both companies are tied economically to resource sustainability, one for manufacturing feedstock and one for cost considerations.  Two key points will be made:

1. Innovation can be found all along the value chain, not just in product development.

2. Strategic planners need coordinated CI support across the value chain.

• 6:00 - 6:30pm : Networking and light hors d’oeuvres
• 6:30 - 8:00pm: Presentation and group participation
• Following a brief presentation on the two case studies, attendees will be invited to brainstorm regarding competitive landscape in these two cases.
